Musicals
Sankyo's " Orpheus" musical movements are considered by many to be
one of the finest made in the world today.
Both in tone and texture, this series of multi-note deluxe musical
movements achieve
an extremely high-level of sound quality and are praised by enthusiasts
for its full-bodied "voice".
To properly display and enhance the musical qualities of the
Orpheus movement,
a special team of experts were commissioned to assist in the box design.
Their goal was create a visually attractive box with the highest
quality finish and,
most importantly, a structure to enhance and emphasize tonal purity.
To achieve this, the musical movement is mounted on a special
wooden "sound board" for
perfect reverberations and natural amplification.
Brass footings raise it from the resting surface allowing the
sound to exit unimpeded.
As a finishing touch, the musical movement is enclosed in glass to
protect it from dust and foreign objects.
The natural pleasure of music filling a home combined with the
visual beauty of the gloss-finished case
is sure to enhance any décor.
