Cuba Crown
Commemorative Spoon from the
"Spanish American War".
Bowl of spoon depicts Morro Castle, the shank the words CUBA
LIBRE, continuing toward the top of the handle are banners or
flags of the American and Spanish, with a profile of General
Fitzhugh Lee (the nephew of Robert E. Lee). General Lee commanded
the VII Army Corps during this short but infamous war. Made
famous by Roosevelt's Rough Riders.
An amazing piece of history
to own!
Spoon is crown silver plate
and is cir late 1800's.
Silver looks like it is mostly
worn away, due to its age
but details on spoon are still crisp and clear.

word New York.
On the handle are the words New York, a picture of the
Times Bldg, the Flatiron Building and the Brooklyn Bridge.
On the Back of the spoon handle is the Statue of Liberty.
Above the statue of Liberty is the makers mark
"P & B" Sterling.
